Long gone are the days when one had to go to the beauty salon to get a facial. Don't get wrong - they can be so realxing when you go to a salon/spa to have one , however most of us dom't have the time due bust schedules, kids, work etc.
Giving yourself a facial in the comfort of your own home can be so pampering and ideal to get your 'me time'. I usually have them on sundays and call it 'Spa Sundays' for that reason.
Choose a facial mask treatment deoending how your skin looks and feels. Does it need a deep clean? Does your skin need some TLC soothing. Is it dry and lack lustre?
I have a collection of facial masks on the go. On more 'hormonal days' I reach for the Charcoal Facial Detox or the Purifying Enzymatic Facial, I use either a few times a week to keep pores clear and control excess oil. I also extend them to the neck and decolletage.
During my 'normal' times ( I have normal/combination skin) I will rotate the following: Dragon's Blood Gel Mask or Honey & Propolis Healing Facial.
If I am going to have a facial on a 'Spa Sunday' then I will exfoliate first with either the Cell therapy Complexion Polish ( on oilier days) or Antioxidant Intensive Facial on less oilier days. Then I would apply one of the masks to deal with whatever skin issue I have at the time.
Once I have removed the fcial mask, I will tone and restore my skin's PH with Radiance Flower Nectar followed by the Anti Ageing Serum on my face and neck, along with a few drops of one of my facial oils. :-)
